Studio East Training for the Performing Arts’ Mainstage season is typically 5-6 live theater events.

These popular plays and musicals are each performed on multiple dates and times.
They are put on by sensational local actors and crew and shown at Kirkland theaters, surrounding parks, and partner cities.

Each year, we produce our large-scale Summer Teen Musical, historically presented at Kirkland Performance Center.

Lord Pringle’s Men, our teen ensemble program, produces one Shakespearean play annually, featuring acting cast ages 13-19. These productions are historically presented free of charge to the public as part of our Shakespeare in the Park program.

The most-produced events in Studio East’s history, aside from the annual ‘Twas The Night… holiday shows, are The Wizard of Oz (’98, ’04, ’08, ’11, ’16, ’21), I Never Saw Another Butterfly (’96, ’03, ’08, ’12, ’17, ’21) and Into The Woods(’95, ’99, ’04, ’09, ’13, ’18, ’23).
