Gavin Sakae McLean, a dedicated teaching artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from Cornish College of the Arts and a Master’s in Computer Science, seamlessly blends his passions for performance and technology. Recognized for his artistic excellence with the Bravura Award in 2009, Gavin has enriched the educational landscape through his work in various school districts, specializing in fight choreography, voice and speech, and dialects coaching. Following a successful tech career and a period focused on family, he is now pursuing a teaching certificate from National University, eager to return to his roots in education with Studio East. Grateful in his achievements, Gavin is committed to inspiring the next generation with the transformative power of the arts.
