Break Camps & Studio Days

When school is out join Studio East for a Camp or Studio Day!

Because dates vary between school districts, look at your calendar carefully when registering. Themes and formats change from camp to camp, but it’s always a blast! Camps range from one day to all week, depending on the school schedule. Students will learn new skills, make new friends, and have a great time. Timing is everything! Break Camps and Studio Days that have not met their minimum enrollment will be canceled. Enroll early!

Studio Day: Hocus Pocus

Grab your wands and broomsticks! We’ll sing songs, learn choreography, and act out scenes from witchy movies, including the classic Hocus Pocus.

Studio Day: K-Pop Demon Hunters

Grab your microphones and dancing shoes! We’ll dive into the world of K-Pop Demon Hunters, singing, dancing, and acting out scenes from the hit movie.

Studio Day: Comedy Day

We’ll learn about so many different ways to make people laugh such as Improv, Stand Up, and Sketch Comedy. All experience levels welcome!

Mid-Winter Break: Improvisation Day

We’re learning about the exciting world of improv. Leave those scripts behind because today we’ll be thinking on our feet, and making up stories on the fly through a wide range of improvisational games and exercises. All experience levels welcome!

Mid-Winter Break: Broadway Day

This class is all about our favorite Broadway shows. We’ll learn acting, singing, and dancing skills as we explore old favorites like Lion King, new classics like Hamilton, and everything in between for a day of theatrical fun.

Mid-Winter Break: Play in a Day

Most plays take weeks to create, but what happens if we aim to create a play in a day. We’ll condense the play creation process down to one day of script creation, acting, costume selection, and performance. It’ll be a whirlwind!

Mid-Winter Break: Wicked—For Good

Join us for a wicked week at Studio East. In this musical theater camp, students learn rehearsal techniques and vocabulary as they put together a mini-show inspired by the newest Wicked movie, For Good! Students will sing songs and learn choreography from the show as well as learn about character, stage presence, and acting out an original script. On Friday, we’ll present our musical for friends and family.

Mid-Winter Break: Off to See the Wizard

Join us for an “Oz-tastic” week at Studio East. In this musical theater camp, students learn rehearsal techniques and vocabulary as they put together a mini-show inspired by The Wizard of Oz and Wicked. Students will sing songs and learn choreography from the two famous musicals, as well as learn about character, stage presence, and acting out an original script. On Friday, we’ll present our musical for friends and family.

Spring Break: Dracula – One Act Play

Perform a one act play complete with costumes and props! Acting skills will be developed throughout the camp as students rehearse a zany “Dracula” retelling. This melodramatic masterpiece features enough roles for all our actors. Who will you be? Bloodsucking Dracula? Dracula’s Bride? The famous vampire hunter, Van Helsing!? Family and friends are invited to see this exciting production on the final day of camp.

Spring Break: Once Upon a Time – Play Creation

Learn to act in this one-week drama camp where we’ll create our very own play inspired by the theme “Once Upon a Time”. Everyone will have a role to play in the story that’s sure include characters like dragons, princesses, kings, and more! Who will rule the land at the end of the day? Find out on the final day of camp when family and friends are invited to our world premiere play.
