A Pause for StoryBook Theater

Due to some recent changes we’ve had at Studio East and the resulting reduced staffing, we decided to take a look at all of our internal programming to make sure that we are using our resources in the best way possible.  As such, we made the difficult decision to pause on our 2024-25 StoryBook Theater season. 

This pause will provide us time to evaluate all of our programming and make sure that we are bringing our students, families and patrons best-in-class theater performance and educational opportunities. It will also allow us time to expand and restructure our StoryBook show offerings to include themes that reflect more cultures and topics to best serve the needs of our evolving audience. We will be relaunching our StoryBook touring program in the 2025-26 season with brand new sets, costumes, shows, stories, and structure.
