Studio East is a secular nonprofit arts organization that welcomes students from any background, culture, identity, orientation, and ability. As part of our Summer Camp program, we have partnered with local churches as our camp venues for many years. These community partners make it possible for us to hold as many summer camps as we do, fostering our young actor’s exploration of the performing arts in spaces that often have beautiful performance stages and, most importantly, provide a footprint that suits our program needs.

Studio East
10718 NE 68th Street, Kirkland, WA 98033 (NEW) | Get Directions
Directions: From I-405 take exit #17 head right on the ramp for NE 68th ST towards NE 70th PL. Turn left onto NE 68th ST. In .5 Miles, at Houghten Village the destination is on the right. Once you pass the light on 108th St take the entrance next to the Judo academy.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be doing check-in on the south side of the building, the entrance closest to the street.
Lake Washington United Methodist Church (LWUMC)
7525 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033 | Get Directions
Directions: From I-405, take Exit #17 and head right on the ramp toward NE 72nd PL then toward NE 70th Pl. Turn right onto NE 72nd Pl. Stay upon it as the road changes into NE 70th Pl and then into NE 70th St. Turn left onto 132nd Ave NE. The last intersection before you arrive is 75th St.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be checking in on the West end of the parking lot closest to the field and playground.*

St. John’s Episcopal Church
105 State St, Kirkland, WA 98033 | Get Directions
Directions: From I-405, take Exit #18 West toward Kirkland. Turn left onto 6th St. At the light, turn right onto Kirkland Way. The road will change into Kirkland Ave. Turn left onto State St S. The last intersection before your destination is 1st Ave. If you have reached 2nd Ave, you have gone too far.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be checking in on the back/West side of the building, closest to the parking lot off of 1st Ave S.
Life Community Church (LCC)
232 5th Avenue S, Kirkland, WA 98033 | Get Directions
Directions: From I-405, take Exit #18 West toward Kirkland. Turn right onto 85th St. At the light, turn right onto 114th Ave NE. At the four-way stop, turn left onto NE 87th St. This road will change into 7th Ave. Turn right onto 8th St.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be checking in on the South side of the building on 5th Ave S. There are parking spots directly in front of the entrance.
Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church (NUU)
308 4th Avenue S, Kirkland, WA 98033 | Get Directions
Directions: From I-405, take Exit #18 West toward Kirkland. Turn left onto Kirkland Way. At the light, turn left onto 3rd St. 3rd St. becomes State St. The NUU is on the corner of State and 4th Ave S. It is a tall A-frame building.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be checking in on the South side of the building on 4th Ave S. The best route is to turn on 3rd St, on the North side of the building, and then turn right into the parking lot. The parking lot is one-way and cars tend to get backed up on 4th Ave.
Kirkland Congregational United Church of Christ (KCC)

Directions: From I-405, take Exit #18 West toward Kirkland. Turn right onto 85th St and stay upon it as the road changes into Central Way. Turn right onto 3rd St. Turn left onto 5th Ave. The last intersection before you arrive is 2nd St.
Camp Entrance: Camp will be checking in on the South side of the building on 5th Ave. There’s a parking lot on 5th Ave just east of the camp entrance.
