For over 30 years, Studio East has provided high-quality theatre classes, workshops, and productions in partnership with area schools. Our experienced teaching artists offer drama programming for preK-12th grade, fostering confidence, self-esteem, and team-building.

SchoolStage brings the show to you
SchoolStage partners with PTSAs to co-produce school musicals.
Our best-in-the-biz Teaching Artists will guide your students through auditions, rehearsals, and performances—all while offering parent volunteers opportunities to create programs, sell tickets, advertise performances, coordinate concessions, and more. Nudge, nudge: SchoolStage is also a great PTSA fundraiser!
SchoolStage is a six-week, after-school residency program that partners with PTSAs to co-produce school plays.
Performing arts outreach classes
Our outreach program gives schools ways to offer arts enrichment opportunities outside the standard curriculum.
These after-school classes typically meet once a week for 8-10 weeks. Classes are designed to run between 1-2 hours following the school day on your campus, and can be customized to fit your needs. All classes culminate in a final showcase for friends and family!
Popular classes include favorites like Acting 101, Improv and Comedy, Mini-Musicals, Play Creation, and more!
Residencies
Looking for a program during school hours that ties in with your current curriculum?
Our in-school residencies are customized to fit the needs of your school and culminate in a full scale production; complete with props, costumes, and sets! Our rockstar teaching artists will be in school with you for 6-10 weeks, 3-4 days a week, making theatre magic happen!
