Rebecca Herivel is a musician, actor, and teaching artist. As a performer, she specializes in cross-genre work, particularly in using music to enhance storytelling in non-musical theater works. Rebecca lived for drama club in elementary and middle school and is passionate about bringing the same life-changing experience she had to her students. Raised in a musical family, her lifetime joy of music making is combined with technical excellence to provide students with the best tools possible to find their voice, and have plenty of fun doing it! In addition to her work as a teaching artist, Rebecca teaches private voice and low-brass lessons and can be found performing with various theater companies throughout the Seattle area.
We’re moving to our new location at Houghton Village – to bring you our best work, we’ve delayed Matilda showtimes, Spring Quarter classes, and the Student Cabaret series by one week from their original dates. We’re excited for you to experience the new Studio East Mainstage theater, with no bad seats in the house, as well as our new classrooms, and we’re here for any questions you might have.
