Dear friends of the Studio,
Studio East has spent the past 30 years transforming the lives of young people through theater training. Today we prepare for our own transformation as we look ahead to some big announcements. In order to truly celebrate all that is happening, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Curtains Up event until this summer. Summer is a high-energy time around Studio East, and we can’t wait for you to join us for Shakespeare in the Park, Grease, summer camps, and a rescheduled Curtains Up with the unveiling of the 2023-24 Mainstage season.
We’re just as excited as all of you for the reveal of the 2023-24 Mainstage season, and know that Curtains Up being postponed means you’ll have to wait a little longer to know the full line-up. To give you something to sink your teeth into, we’ve announced the first two shows of the season here. Sponsorship opportunities are open if you’d like to support these productions and Studio East.
We apologize for the change, but are proud to share the first two shows of the 2023-24 season with you, and to see you at a rescheduled Curtains Up, where we will reveal four additional shows for the new season. It’s a summer to celebrate all that’s happening at Studio East!
All the best,
Lani Brockman, Founding Artistic Director &
Jennifer Tucker, Managing Director
