Show Tunes Sing-a-Long

Come join Studio East students and faculty as they lead the audience in song including favorites from Broadway, Disney, and more! Dress up as your favorite character from a book, movie, or play for a chance to win a prize. Audiences will be treated to take home sing-a-long lyric books and a goody bag of fun from some of our partners.

StoryBook Theater Presents…
Me…Jane: The Dreams and Adventures of Young Jane Goodall

Based on the book Me…Jane by Patrick McDonnell this musical adaptation by Patrick McDonnell, Andy Mitton, and Aaron Posner premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC in 2017. Our story follows young Jane Goodall and her favorite stuffed chimpanzee, Jubilee, as they explore the vast and beautiful world of nature around them. This unique staged reading presentation is a chance for audiences to get a first look at a work-in-progress that might be included in a future season. Come see how actors first dig into a piece and decide for yourself if you want to see a fully realized production!

The Bloody Bard

Sunday, Nov.17 – 6:00PM

Join us for an original exploration of Shakespeare’s spookiest, witchiest, and bloodiest works from across the cannon. Students will present scenes, songs, monologues, and sonnets weaving a tale into the darkest parts of the Bard’s stories as we celebrate the end of spooky season. Plays explored include Macbeth, Julius Caeser, King Lear, and more!

Run Time: 50 minutes
