Todd, a Radio Play

TODD by Keith Passmore | from Off the Wall Plays

Presented by Jeremy Pollard | Directed by Buddy Todd

A radio play streaming online February 4-7, 2022

Todd is a full length drama script based on Sweeney Todd, The Infamous Demon Barber of Fleet Street, yet this story has a more humane approach. The author has depicted Sweeney Todd as a victim of circumstance and of his own vengeance. This play is action-packed and full of a lot of fun, flirty characters, giving students the chance to take on multiple roles. We are excited to present Todd as a radio play, which will give students the opportunity to work on dialect and voice work, as well as creating a production in a much shorter time frame (we will rehearse just 4 weeks in January).
