The Studio Foundations Program
NEW for 2017-18! Studio Foundations – for students ages 10-12
[Read about how this program was brought to life in our January 2018 newsletter.]
Studio Foundations is a school year program for theater students ages 10-12 who want to pursue a focused course of study in the art and craft of theater.
Studio Foundations builds acting, voice, and dance skills over the course of the school year. Taught by working theater professionals, the curriculum intentionally challenges and supports students. The course can be taken yearly (9 months) or quarterly (3 months).
Enrollment & Auditions
To join the 2017-2018 Studio Foundations contact Studio East at 425-820-1800 to set up an audition time and to register.
Auditions are informal and approximately 15 minutes in length. Students present a one minute monologue and prepare for a brief interview.
We will encourage young actors who show high potential and focus in classes, camps or productions to audition. Level placement is based on previous experience and audition.
A maximum of 12 students are accepted into the program for 2017-18. Students are expected to make a commitment to class attendance.
Call the office at 425-820-1800 for information on enrollment.
