Drama Bugs - Amazing Animals

Lions and tigers and bears...and more! We will explore different worlds, characters, and stories through drama, art, and music. This session our stories and characters will involve of all kinds of animals, and we will choose our favorite creative drama adventure to share with parents on the last day.
Once Upon a Time

Jump into the story! Students will explore classic fairy and folk tales through dramatic play and crafts. Each week we will read a different book, acting it out and discovering new ways to tell the story. We'll change characters if it suits us, and question why the story ends the way it does. Towards the end of the session, we'll choose our favorite story to perform for family and friends on the final day of class.

Starting from scratch, we’ll use our imaginations to create wacky new characters and the story that combines them all! We’ll work together choose a topic, develop characters, write the script, practice speaking the important lines that tell the story, and finally present our creation to friends and family!

A musical theater extravaganza! Students will sing songs and learn choreography from musicals such as "Seussical." This class will focus on building a character, stage presence, and acting a song. We will end our class with a fabulous musical revue complete with songs and a scene!
