If you took our Character Development class last quarter, or have taken another basic acting technique class in the recent past, join us for this fun and challenging course! Actors will work with scenes which have a strong physical element, and will learn to sustain their characters while focusing on text work. A great next step in building your acting toolbox!

Practice learning combinations to brush up skills for those dance auditions! Beginning students will learn dance technique in jazz and tap styles, and tips for learning combinations quickly to aid physical memorization skills for dance auditions. Students will learn choreography from classic and contemporary Broadway musicals, and practice choreographing their own pieces! Students need to bring jazz and tap shoes to class.

Classes are limited to 6 students to allow for specialized attention on each student. Students are assigned solo songs to address specific challenges and strengths, and a class song is used to explore basic musical concepts and as a warm-up to solo work during class.
