Throughout the year, Studio East hosts many special events and fundraisers as a way for supporters to mingle with one other, to showcase the work of students, and for families to come together and support the future of Studio East.
Studio East Mainstage
Studio East creates opportunities for young people to train in the performing arts, and showcases their work in our Mainstage Season of family shows. See students perform in live theater productions at the Studio East Mainstage Theater in Kirkland.
StoryBook Theater
StoryBook Theater introduces young children to live theater through comical live musical adaptations of familiar fairy tales. StoryBook’s 55-minute shows feature adult professional actors, a live musician on stage, and time for questions and autographs after each show. These musicals are written especially for young children, ages 3-10, and families, and can be seen at the Kirkland Performance Center, Renton’s Carco Theatre, Everett PUD, Seattle’s Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute and the Edmonds Center for the Arts (school shows only).
