BIO: Sara Bogan
Sara Dunlap-Bogan, a Washington State Certified Teacher, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Performance Studies from Louisiana State University and Master’s degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College. Sara teaches because she believes in the transformative power of art and communication. She enjoys teaching collaborative playwriting classes and directing shows. In addition to working with Studio East, Sara teaches in local elementary schools, with a teaching emphasis on drama, writing, and social/emotional skills.
When she’s not teaching, Sara enjoys writing nonfiction narratives and plays including both adaptations and original works. Her most recent project is an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s short story All Summer in a Day.
She is ecstatic to be teaching at Studio East.
