Patye (“Patty”) Nguyen (“Win”) grew up on the Studio East stage, and is honored and thrilled to be able to give back to the community that is still her second home. The Studio’s high standards in production and performance, coupled with the training, education, support, and confidence she received here directly contribute to her career as a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter (although assisting with Little Players and Studio camps helped pay for college). Patye has performed with, and is now in her 6th season of interpreting for, Storybook Theater, as well as the Seattle Repertory Theater, The 5th Avenue Theater, Benaroya Hall, and various community theaters and festivals. Patye loves practicing for shows in the kitchen for her best fans, daughters Amelie and Lucy, especially when husband Minh is cooking from his native Vietnamese cuisine!
