BIO: Pamela Turpen
Pamela Turpen received her BA in dance performance with an emphasis in choreography from UNLV. She has taught dance and choreographed for a variety of ages and levels for over 20 years, focusing primarily on musical theatre, classical jazz, and Latin dance styles. She has performed with 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Seattle Opera, Triple Door, SD Prism Dance Theatre, and Arc Dance Productions. She has also done numerous local films and commercials. Doing comedy and improvisation is one of her favorite things and she has been doing impersonations such as Marilyn Monroe, Wonder Woman, and Disney Princesses with a company called Live Wires for over 15 years. Her teaching philosophy is one of inspiration, motivation, and accountability in order to achieve the greatest potential in her students.
