BIO: Nathan Drackett
Nathan Drackett is an actor, teacher, acrobat and musician. He has a BA in Theatre and a Minor in Japanese Language and Culture from Northwestern University. Since moving to Seattle in 2016, Nate has worked with Kitsap Forest Theatre in their productions of Peter Pan (Hook) and Tuck Everlasting (Angus). Before 2016, Nate worked with Filament Theatre (James and the Giant Peach, Cyrano), Lyric Opera Chicago (La Boheme, Die Meistersinger), Signal Theatre Ensemble, Mercury Theatre (Barnum: A Circus Musical), Redmoon Theatre, and Piven Theatre.
Nate was always most excited by productions that included bodies in movement in physical and emotional risk. No wonder he ended up teaching and training circus at The Actors Gymnasium in Chicago for 11 years, and currently trains and teaches at SANCA, a circus school in Georgetown. He’s most passionate about teaching brave people to do dangerous things in a safe way. A mischievous spirit who loves to follow the rules, Nate hopes to push the boundaries of what we think theatre, circus, and telling a story can be.
