BIO: Matthew Posner
Matthew Posner: Matthew has been a professional Actor/Singer for over 15 years. He grew up in New Hampshire where he earned his BA in Music Theatre from Plymouth State University. Bouncing around the country, from New York to Maine, Pennsylvania to Tennessee, and after finishing up playing Lancelot on the National Tour of Camelot, Matthew finally settled down in Washington. Taking his AEA status, Matthew works consistently with the Village Theatre and the 5th Avenue in such recent productions as “A Christmas Story”, “Billy Elliot”, “The Sound of Music”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Carousel”, and “How to Succeed In Business…”. His favorite roles have included Bobby Strong (Urinetown), The Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Buddy Foster (Side Show), and Jean Valjean (Les Miserables). When not on stage, Matthew enjoys a very fruitful career as a Voice Teacher and Voice Over Artist, making both serious and funny voices for a living. With a custom sound studio, his voice can be heard interpreting various Video Game Characters, International product Promos, Audiobooks, and Radio Commercials. Through perseverance he has acquired continuous Voice work with some recognizable brands such as Dreamworks, Sony, Sharper Image, and Microsoft.
