BIO: Kristin Burch
Kristin Burch is overjoyed to be part of the Studio East family! She began her performing career at the early age of 4, and is now a professional singer, dancer, actress, and choreographer. A Northwest native, Kristin is originally from Olympia, WA. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater (Acting/Directing) from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Throughout her childhood, Kristin trained with many prestigious dance academies, studied music & acting, and was a competitive gymnast. She also graduated from modeling school, worked in film and television, and sang in many local and national talent competitions. Now as an adult, Kristin is thrilled to be working both on and off the stage. Recently she has appeared on many local stages including Village Theatre, SecondStory Repertory, Seattle Musical Theatre, and Renton Civic Theatre. One of her favorite roles was playing Anybodies/Maria(u/s) in the International Tour of West Side Story. Other favorite roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Nancy in Oliver!, Petra in A Little Night Music, and Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. This winter, Kristin is choreographing Studio East’s annual production of ‘Twas The Night…, and she’s also looking forward to reprising her role as an Elf in Storybook Theatre’s production of The Elves and The Toymaker!
